Interesting study. How these feathered Stratofortresses actually manage to takeoff and fly beats me ! They seem to defy the laws of gravity. However, they do make interesting photo-subjects. A really, really closeup shot of a Pelican's eye is a challenge you could look into...

Thanks ... rather then just being lazy and standing around on the ground with a telephoto lense, I shall climb the pole next time, look that sucker in the eye and say "LuckyG sends his best" ... might dig around some of the other pics I took on the day and see if we can find an "eyeful" for you :)
