.Still in a black and white mood ... These beautiful eyes are 94 years old ... to imagine the things they would have seen ... there is so much character in the older faces around us ... so much expression ... the things they would have forgotten that we are yet to even experience

Hey... where's that polarising filter gone ?
This was pre-polarising filter ... but hey, had I used that, we would have missed out on the subliminal figure of the photographer silhouetted in the spectacle lenses ! (I thought that sounded like a pretty good line of reasoning, but I'm open to correction !) :)
i was thinking the same thing as luckyg when i first glimpsed the photo, but upon closer "studying" i arrived at the conclusion you defended yourself with...*smile* but i then would agree with luckyg again...the pic would be great seen without any distracting reflections in the glasses...but then again... *shrugging shoulders* i loved the pic, truly.... the things these eyes have seen...the tears these eyes have cried....smiles that have crinkled the eyes...ah but i wax poetic..enough! just to say .. LOVELY ! ~~~
Was caught in 2 minds there ... I opted to go without filter as I quite enjoyed the pictures within the picture concept ... perhaps I can do a PS adjustment and produce a second version to keep everyone happy :)
