.Remember "The Day of the Triffids" ? ... Has been a long time since I saw the film, but this flower conjured up memories of man-eating mobile plants for me. It also bears some resemblance to fettecine (sp?) and/or Chinese noodles in my over-active imagination ... but hey, it's getting pasta joke now ! (moan) .. For the purists, the colours evident are all natural and were not added during processing.

Indeed. The Day of the Triffids. I agree entirely. Suggests the same to me... which means I'm not the only one half off the planet eh ! That's encouraging to learn. Could also be ET in a ballet pose.
I must try to find that movie again sometime LG ... Haven't seen it for years, mind you, would probably have me in hysterics at the aged effects, but would still be great to do :)
