Editorial Comment # 1 ...
Apologies for the infrequencies of recent postings. The last couple of weeks have been mayhem and madness and have severely limited my time to add to this blog. Hopefully, things will start to ease up a bit now and I can re-focus on the job at hand ! :)

Just to clarify the reason for the existence of this blog. Firstly, this blog is NOT a series of photographs specifically published for impressing people. I do not profess to be an elite photographer (yet, but I'm working on it), nor do I expect anyone to get excited about what I do (yet, but I believe one day they will). What this blog IS is a project I have set for myself ... it is more for my own benefit than anyone elses ... It is about stretching myself ... learning from things I do (photgraphically speaking), both good and bad. I feel honoured that there are a number of folk who choose to check in from time to time to see how it's going, and I will ALWAYS appreciate criticism in any form, as long as it's constructive. If you don't like the photo's because they are offensive to your taste, or if you find the descriptions or comments get up your nose, then please bear in mind that no-one is holding a gun to anyone's head ! Feel free to decide that the site is not to your liking and move on :)
Cheers, AJ

Thanks anon for bringing that small typo to my attention ... it has been rectified ... It seems a little sad that in finding the error, you seem to have missed the point of the piece entirely. I hope it didn't spoil your day too much ! (As you can see, my preference is for soft sarcasm over petty pedanticism) :)
And so say all of us... you are doing a great job Andy.
Well Said AJ!
Who cares where the punctuation marks are anyway? I'm sure I use way too many of them...Always amuses me to see the strongest critisims come from the weakest individuals, the ones that won't even put their name to it or anyone "else's" for that matter :)
Thanks Phoebesmum ... I think it's a little sad that's all some people have to do with their time ... kinda makes you wonder what sort of a lonely existence it must be .. anyway, nice as always to hear from you :)
yes! yes! what an utterly fantastic site!
who cares about art? technique? the personal experience of connecting with a true artistes self expression??
bravo!
i am so delighted i have this kind of time on my hands, to actually think about and reflect on another's creation personally.... and to discover that its all not about art and magic at all, but about "me, me, i love me! and all of my pretty pictures."
ahh.... stuff that!
oh.. let's face it. who cares?
yes. i am bored.
NEXT!!
Thanks for the thought anonymous, though I'm not sure I've quite understood what that thought was ! Sarcasm can be an interesting thing when in inexperienced hands it would appear :)
